Senior Digital Marketing Manager

We are Australia’s first community-owned, renewable energy focused retailer. Based in Byron Bay’s Arts and Industrial Estate we’re a growing, energetic team of people who are passionate about doing things differently, and making our customers lives better.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join the team.

In this role you will own and lead the efforts across the planning and execution of digital programs to help the business achieve their goals of audience acquisition, engagement and conversion.

In this role, you’ll report to the Head Retail Sales and Marketing.

 

We are looking for someone with;

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing in a customer facing business.
  • a thorough understanding of digital marketing principles, assets, planning and optimisation.
  • a proven track record of digital campaign conceptualisation, design and production.
  • a developed understanding of creative that will resonate with consumers and ability to implement.
  • demonstrated experience in rapid test / learn and iterative campaign environments.
  • excellent analytical skills, inclusive of consumer insights, digital analytics and associated tools, to drive continual
  • efficiencies and performance.
  • strong and creative written and communication skills with the ability to inform senior stakeholders, your fellow team,
  • direct agencies and vendors.
  • solid background identifying and delivering customer solutions in a complex, inter-dependent environment with
  • commercial, IT and operational pressures.
  • experience in digital media buying and optimisation.
  • strong commercial acumen and budget management experience.
  • experience managing CRM programs will be an advantage.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • champion and drive digital enablement in areas such as digital campaigns and services, digital assets, media and overall business improvement in this space.
  • create strategic and measurable digital campaign plans by working with management and the broader Sales and Marketing team including content, channel development / optimisation and post implementation review processes.
  • create and manage relevant digital marketing content ensuring delivery on time and within agreed strategies and plans.
  • champion and drive customer experience and conversion across digital via the use of customer data to inform the business opportunity and priority.
  • increase and drive return on investment across new and existing channels including owned, earned and affiliates.
  • forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders.
